About Me.

I’m Kristi, a Gen X retired high school librarian who traded in book stacks for stacks of suitcases and have been living my best hospitality life since 2018. Since then, I’ve hosted thousands of awesome guests from all over the world, all chasing that Route 66 magic.
I’ve got a soft spot for road trips, live music in dive bars, and adventurous hangs with my granddaughters and my Frenchie, Leo (who’s pretty sure he’s the one running the show). Whether you're here for nostalgia, adventure, or just a comfy place to crash, I'm so glad you've found your way to my place.

The Post was established in 2016. The first event was hosted in December, 2017, and our first B&B guests stayed in March, 2018. The Mollie on 66, another event venue & guest retreat in Galena, Kansas, was opened in 2022.
